Wabi-Sabi Wood is a family run business based in Norfolk. It all started in 2023 in a normal garden shed, messing around with offcuts of wood. The result quickly received a lot of attention and the idea grew into a business which launched in early 2024. Wabi-Sabi Wood makes beautiful handcrafted wooden planters, available in a catalogue of animal shapes and sizes, made to fit any outdoor space, no matter how big or small. A small patio or balcony can be transformed with the right designs and planting. We use the best natural materials and wherever possible we will use recycled materials too. We want to contribute to the natural world, encouraging people to plant and grow their own plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, vegetables and fruit in their own space, bringing nature to your home. Not only does Wabi-Sabi Wood have an ever growing catalogue of designs, we are also happy to take bespoke orders, and bring them to life with our passion, craftmanship and the beauty of natures own materials. Each planter is fully treated to withstand all weathers and built to last, so that they can bring you joy for many years to come. Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese concept, meaning to find the beauty in the imperfections of life, accepting with grace the cycles of life, growth and decay in the natural world. We love the idea of our planters full with gorgeous flowers and plants attracting buzzing bees and butterflies into your gardens whilst contributing to the pollenation of our beautiful planet all at the same time. We hope to have a long and happy future making our planters and growing our business with our customers and creating beautiful outdoor spaces across the country.
